I struggled, and at times still struggle to feel beautiful and feminine in a world where being bald is mostly associated with being male. I want to to be a part of the voices that help to change that. I want women like me to feel and to know that they are beautiful, seen, loved and nurtured. I want you to be inspired to pamper and nurture yourself. I want you to know they are Marvelously Made by the Creator on purpose.
Who We Are
Hello!I’m Shani, founder of Baldyful and I’m so happy you’re here.
I’m an Artist. I’ve also been a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist for over 10 years. That’s because I believe creativity is a universal part of the way we function, process our lives, communicate with each other and express ourselves. The creations that Baldyful offers are my love letters and points of connection with the women in the world like me. These pieces share my lessons, revelations and affirmations with each of you— so we can all grow and shine together.
Baldyful was born as I watched how bald or balding women like me battled self-doubt in environments where hair is expected, praised, and tied to identity. The journey of losing hair can be isolating, especially when friends, partners, or even doctors don’t fully understand the emotional impact. I’m committed to redefining beauty. Together, we are championing a new broader vision of womanhood—one that celebrates bald beauty as powerful, elegant, and worthy.
